WWE 2K26’s WrestleMania 42 DLC Arrives August 19 With Three New Superstar Personas

WWE 2K26 just got a release date for one of its most-anticipated post-launch drops. The WrestleMania 42 DLC Pack goes live August 19, and it’s built entirely around this year’s two-night Las Vegas show.

What’s in the Pack

The headline additions are three alternate Superstar personas: Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan, all recreated in their WrestleMania 42 looks. Liv Morgan’s version even carries her new entrance theme, “Trouble,” which she debuted in her music video earlier this year. Personas don’t add new names to the roster, but they let you play a specific moment rather than a wrestler’s default look.

Alongside the personas, the pack recreates both Night 1 and Night 2 arenas from WrestleMania 42, giving Universe Mode and Creation Suite players two new venues to build around.

Who Gets It, and For How Much

If you own the Monday Night War Edition, the pack is already included and unlocks automatically on August 19. Everyone else can buy it standalone for $9.99 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

2K had this content penciled in as a vague “Summer 2026” release since before the game launched in March. Locking in an actual date gives the studio a headline beat heading into the back half of the year, and it lands alongside the game’s ongoing Ringside Pass seasons, the battle-pass system that replaced traditional DLC for WWE 2K26.

Why It Matters

WrestleMania content has always been a reliable draw for the WWE 2K series, and pairing it with a real-world WrestleMania that already happened gives the pack built-in storylines: Cody Rhodes retaining the SmackDown title against Randy Orton, Liv Morgan winning the Raw Women’s Championship, and Alexa Bliss coming up short in a Fatal Four-Way.
