Dying Light 2: Stay Human, in its Reloaded Edition, leads the month. It’s the zombie open-world game that’s been continuously updated and expanded since launch, including a full spin-off in Dying Light: The Beast. Joining it is Big Walk, a day-one release from the team behind Untitled Goose Game, and Signalis, a survival-horror favorite that picked up a strong following after its original release. All three are available to redeem starting August 4.
An Unusually Early Reveal
Sony had originally planned to announce the August lineup on July 29, but the games were revealed a day early instead, an uncommon move for PlayStation’s normally tightly scheduled content calendar.
Why It Matters
August is historically one of PS5’s quieter release months, positioned as the calm before September and October’s packed schedules ahead of Grand Theft Auto VI’s November 19 launch.
